Xinyan Huang简介：Dr.Huang Xinyan is an Assistant Professor in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.He received his Ph.D. (2015) in Mechanical Engineeringat Imperial College London, MSc (2012) at the University of California, San Diego, and BE (2010) in Thermal Engineering at Southeast University. Prior to joining PolyU, Dr. Huang was a Postdoc and Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley, where he conducted research with NASA and JAXA on the Microgravity Combustion and Fire Safety in the International Space Station.

Dr. Huang’s research interests include combustion, fire dynamics, heat transfer, explosion, and clean energy technologies. He has co-authored about 30 journal papers, reviewed for 25 journals, and served in the editor board of Fire Technology and Frontiers in Mechanical Engineering. He is a winner of the Sugden Award for the Most Significant UK Contribution to Combustion Research,the Best Ph.D. Thesis in Thermofluids from Imperial College, Qatar PetroleumMedal for Research Excellence in Clean Fossil Fuels, Outstanding Student Abroad from CSC, and the Best Poster Award in 5 international conferences.
